He leads me

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

His names and my needs:
Wonderful ; hope. There is no hopeless situation beyond His capacity to transform. His saving grace embraces all of humanity.
Counselor ; wisdom and guidance. My decisions make me who I am. I need HIS counsel. Psalm 23 The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for You are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Almighty God ; moral strength. The ability to do His will. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Eternal Father ; His presence, provision and protection to be felt physically in my life. Like a father who provides for his child, everything I have comes from Him.
Prince of Peace ;  spiritual fellowship. Peace deep within my soul because I have been reconciled to God through Christ's death on the cross. Peace I leave with you, MY peace I give you. John 14:27
